Lockdown photography session - Skateboards
So with the UK and most the world on lockdown, getting out to nice locations is heavily advised against, so now finding projects around the house to shoot.
First up is 2 of my skateboards, shot using my Mamiya RB67 with 50mm and a roll of Ilford FP4+ 125 film.
I also used a single light source for this, I don't actually own a flash gun, so I used my Bike Light from Amazon which has a 1/4 thread, so it can mount onto a tripod head.
Also filmed it using my Fuji XT1 and DIY slider using a TurnsPro.
Shooting photos like this can be very challenging with the medium format RB67 the depth of field (the distance which is in focus) is so shallow, even with a small aperture and being a fully manual camera, you don't have the luxury's of auto focus, so nailing the focus correctly with the was the waist level viewfinder is not always the easiest.
Hope you enjoy the photos.
This roll of film was developed at home in Ilford ID-11
Scanned with my Epson Perfection V600 Photo Scanner and tweaked in Lightroom.
