Through a Square Window – My Lake District Adventures with the RealitySoSubtle 6x6
There’s something about the 6x6 format that just feels… balanced. Every frame is a perfect square, a little self-contained world where composition takes on a different rhythm. On my recent trip to the Lake District, the RealitySoSubtle 6x6 was never far from reach—tucked in the bag alongside my other pinhole companions, ready to capture quiet moments between grand landscapes.
From still waters and mountain reflections to the fleeting light breaking over the fells, this little camera documented some of my favourite scenes of the trip. The pace of pinhole photography suited the holiday perfectly—unhurried, thoughtful, and completely immersive.
Here’s a selection of my favourite shots from the RealitySoSubtle 6x6, each one a reminder of the calm, the beauty, and the moments that made the Lake District so hard to leave.
