Eastbourne Sunsrise

Canon EOS 7D

Sunrise on Eastbourne beach, How many times have I Photographed Eastbourne pier at sunrise?...way to many times to remember, its a lovely locations for morning photos.
This morning on November 20th 2011 was particularly beautiful, the morning started out very very foggy, you couldn't even see the end of the pier, wandering along the beach not expecting much at all. As the sun started to rise the mist started to clear, slowly revealing the end of the pier, then the horizon with the sun. The mist still on the horizon help keep the brightness of the sun back, normally I would use a ND grad filter, but on this occasion, did not have to.
The water got its effect from the slow shutter of 1/3sec and was captured just as the wave was dragging back after crashing onto the beach.
This photo has always been one of my many favourites of Eastbourne pier, along with a few others which I will share at a later date, and Im sure in the meantime I will be adding many more to my collection.
