Time to reflect.
This was a 7 minute exposure of favourite spot along Eastbourne seafront.
Canon EOS 7D
Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6 EX DC HSM
10mm/Æ’/16/421s/ISO 100
Photography gives me a chance to reflect on life, get away from all the stress and stuff that goes on.
I can set up a long exposure like this, explore spots along a beach, stroll over the downs, walk through the woods, I always like to take my photography slow, so I can clear my mind and enjoy the what is happening in front of the camera.
This particular photo was titled "Time to reflect" as this was very much a moment of reflection, I cant remember what it was I had on my mind at the time (December 1st 2013) but I always remember it was a moment I sat to clear my mind over that 7 minute exposure, watching the waves crash around the rocks and the clouds roll by, its when I started to realise this was a part of photography that meant a lot to me. A chance to escape, create and clam my mind over the chaos of life.
