Embracing Autumn: Capturing the Magic of Wet Weather Adventures with the GoPro hero 12
Autumn has undeniably arrived, and I couldn't be happier. I adore the crisp, rainy weather—it's perfect for grabbing my camera and heading out. This past weekend, I alternated between my trusty GoPro Hero 12 and my Harman Titan 4x5 pinhole camera. While I eagerly await developing the images from the latter, I headed to a local park with the family with my GoPro hero 12.
Fortunately, I salvaged the first two shots just before my SD card encountered a malfunction.
Thankfully, I managed to pick up a replacement SD card just in time for Sunday. Although rain was forecasted all day, the skies remained mostly clear until we set out for a walk in the local woods. Of course, that's when the heavens decided to open up! Despite the downpour, there were some dry patches, and the kids quickly got over it, enjoying the adventure outdoors. Here are the images I managed to capture during our outing.
Despite the unpredictable weather, the weekend turned out to be a great opportunity to capture the essence of autumn. From an early morning start on the beach with my pinhole camera, to the spontaneous woodland adventure, each moment was a reminder of why I love this season. As I look forward to developing the film from my pinhole camera, I'm excited to see how these images will complement the digital ones I’ve shared. There's something truly magical about autumn's ability to transform even the simplest outings into memorable experiences.
