Developing the Photos from My Meetup with Sebastian

I finally got around to developing the photos from my meetup with Sebastian — and I’m really pleased with how they turned out.

You’ll notice some “bubble marks” scattered across the images. That’s entirely down to me. For some reason, I decided to give the developer a shake, and it bubbled up far more than I expected. The result? Little bubble imprints left on the negatives.

Luckily, most of them landed in the sky areas of the frames, which almost works in their favor. It gives the photos a slightly surreal, textured quality — not something I’d intentionally aim for, but I have to admit, it’s got a bit of charm in its own odd way.

All in all, I’m just happy with how the images came out, and it’s been a nice reminder that sometimes the unexpected quirks of film can add their own kind of beauty.

Big thanks again to Sebastian for the meetup and the film — I really enjoyed this little project and look forward to sharing more soon.
