The day began with coffee and pancakes in the tent porch, sheltering from the rain—a slow, cosy start while the weather did its thing. As the sky began to clear, I headed out early with the RealitySoSubtle 6x6 and the Mania 4x5 pinhole, determined to finish off the 6x6 roll. I needed that spare spool to finally load the 6x17, which had been waiting patiently in the bag all week.
I managed a shot with the Mania using the split panoramic feature. I’d hoped to get a second one, but the light faded fast and never came back, so I passed on the exposure. I did grab a few drone images, though—still trying to build a bit more footage before the trip’s over.
Later in the day, we set off on a family hike. With the 6x6 roll finally done, I was able to load up the RealitySoSubtle 6x17 at last. It felt good to finally put that format to use in these wide, open landscapes. I brought the Mania along too and managed a few frames with both cameras as we walked.

We finished the day back at the site with a cold pint—feet sore, film loaded, and ready for tomorrow.
It's fantastic to investigate unusual forms of photography - 6x17 being one of them. The combination of pancakes and pinholes gives these images a unique charm. It become easier for students in creative disciplines to balance their studies with their passions, with Law Coursework Help UK.
